For those of you who do not know, the online Sims a break. After recent years find themselves with little or no input, EA will finally redesign the game, and the world of multiplayer games that we know. Sounds exaggerated? Maybe, maybe not verify, and their last-born of the experience of online gaming: AvatarBook.

Facebook, the flesh

So what is Avatarbook? Well, this is the key in the name. This is one of the largest social networking sites on the planet right now? ” That’s right - Facebook. With over 58 million users, Facebook is the main reason why many of us sign up in the morning. But as we all know, it has its limits. How to play online.

A problem with the online games is that they are also a reality - you are your online friends and your real world friends, and both remain strongly divided. Ditto Facebook - your username circuit is limited by both known and it is difficult to know people outside of this circle on a one to one, without sharing all your personal data or by friend of a friend imported.

Everything will change, with a new application that could change the network of our community forever. When Linden Labs Linden dollars (the currency of the popular game Second Life) Real Change interchangeable, they opened the world of online gaming in the real world. Now EA will do the same thing by connecting users of the online avatar sims, their accounts of their Facebook profiles.

Sharing Information

Avatarbook has two faces - game version and version Facebook. In the game you can do like Facebook, you will find in other avatars and display their profiles limited. For friends complete profiles are visible, with walls for people to write and status updated. Your profile will also indicate whether your land is open or not, and the application of that used to give your way EA Land, you jump from friend to friend.

In Facebook, the application displays the details of your avatar (if you have selected a private company) and the image, and if you are connected to the game. This is a useful way for players to see who is online, without having to sign in itself. May also invite other Facebook users who are not already Sims players online to download applications and to view your profile avatar - a move that EA hopes to bring more people to win the game.

Currently, the bulk of information that can be passed on Avatar related. Your skills, qualities and friends can all be found, and its wall. The identity of the real person behind the avatar is kept secret, at least for the moment.

Privacy

Privacy is an important issue, so far as EA is concerned, is currently Avatarbook can be replaced quite limited in the amount of information. In the game Sims that people in your friends list they provide a link to your Facebook profile rather than a direct link can be added, although this will change as demand grows. Also, no one in the EA Land (The Sims Online world, where demand becomes available) will have access to your real name - you will be requested from the name of your avatar. EA said they would allow players to their privacy settings so that the decline would like more information can be shared, but for now they are safe.

Future

This application clearly shows great potential and is something that EA will continue to grow as they acquire information from users. The game Sims Online is through a revolution right now, with their free trial set up to be a free game permanently in the very near future (with limited gameplay for non-payers, as in Second Life) . For years, Second Life is the leader in innovation and social interactivity, but if EA keeps this up, we could be looking for a new pretender to the crown. After all, they came with two most popular games of all time (Sims and Sims 2), some argue that it is less a surprise that a late return. Certainly one to watch, anyway.
